Lao Football Federation

The Lao Fédération de Football, internationally known as the Lao Football Federation ( LFF ), the national Football Association of South East Asian country Laos. It was founded in 1951 in the Kingdom of Laos and incorporated in it by the world football governing body FIFA as a member. The inclusion in the Asian Football Confederation ( AFC) took place only in 1980. In the 1990s, the Association and the ASEAN Football Federation joined.

The association organizes the national football competitions (Lao League) and the games of the national team. President of the Association was extended period of time, the Minister Bountiem Phissamay before he was replaced by Phouvanh VONGSOUTHI. This was in turn replaced by Viphet Sihachakr in autumn 2010.
