Lapua

Lapua [ lɑpuɑ ] (Swedish Lappo ) is a town in the countryside Southern Ostrobothnia in western Finland with 14,647 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) and an area of ​​750.81 square kilometers, of which 13.75 square kilometers of inland water area.

Geography

Lapua is located at the confluence of the rivers Lapuanjoki and Nurmonjoki.

History
