Larry Fortensky

Lawrence Lee Fortensky (usually: Larry Fortensky, born January 17, 1952 in Stanton, California) is an American construction worker who is best known for his marriage to Elizabeth Taylor.

Life

Fortensky attended Pacifica High School in Garden Grove in 1972 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Before he met Taylor, he has been married and divorced twice. From the first marriage comes a daughter.

Fortensky and Taylor met in 1988 during withdrawal therapy in the Betty Ford Center know. The couple closed on October 6, 1991 to Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch marriage, but was divorced on 31 October 1996. Fortensky was Taylor's seventh husband, the marriage was for them their eighth ( with Richard Burton she was married twice).

1998 came Fortensky the headlines again when he was briefly detained after an assault on his girlfriend. In 1999, he suffered serious injuries in a stair fall.
