Lars Arnesson

Lars " Laban " Arnesson ( born February 20, 1936) is a former Swedish football player and coach.

Career

Arnesson played in the 1960s for Djurgårdens IF. With the club he became Swedish champion in 1964.

Arnesson trained by the end of his career, among other things Skellefteå AIK. In the late 1970s he was very successful with Östers IF, before he succeeded by Georg ' Aby ' Ericson Swedish national coach in 1980. After failing to qualify for the World Cup in Mexico in 1986 he handed over the coaching job at Olle Nordin remained until his retirement but continue for the Swedish Football Association operates.
