Lars Ellmerich
Lars Ellmerich ( born January 2, 1961 in Braunschweig ) is a former German football player and coach.
Career
Lars Ellmerich began his career with seven years at Red-White Volkmarode and in 1978 moved to Eintracht Braunschweig. Here he played after the youth first in the amateur team and signed at age 19 ( 1980/81 season ) a professional contract. His league debut came on 24 May 1980 match against Borussia Mönchengladbach (0:3). At the end of the season 1979/80 Brunswick was ranked bottom of the table, an increase from the 2nd Bundesliga. There Ellmerich was during the following season regulars and had ten goals scored a large share of direct resurgence. On the final day he broke in the game against Rot -Weiss Essen Frank Mill shin, so Ellmereich could not participate in the relegation matches against Kickers Offenbach and turned out in the first round of the Bundesliga following season. Only about nine months after he pulled the injury he made his Bundesliga comeback. In the rest of the season he played regularly, but lost the 1982/83 his place. From the second half 1983/84 he was re- used more often, but had to fight for his broken leg repeatedly with injuries. 1985 had the BTSV again begin the transition to the second division. The most successful season after goals Ellmerichs, 1986/87 (13 goals), ended in relegation in the league. He then accepted an offer from the Bundesliga FC 08 Homburg. After half a year he moved to SSV Ulm 1846 to the second division and returned to the 1988/89 season again for FCH relegation from the Bundesliga 1987/88, back. The back in the Bundesliga the Homburgern, Ellmerich helped, among other things with eight goals. For the season 1990/91 he went to VfB Oldenburg ( second division ), where he finished his professional career due to injury after 14 missions.
Around the year 2006, they played Lars Ellmerich in the tradition of the team VfL Wolfsburg.
2002 Ellmerich began to work as a trainer at the DFB - base Braunschweig / Ölper.
