Las Anod or Lasanod ( Somali spelling: Laascaanood ) is a city in northern Somalia, according to calculations with 43,700 inhabitants. It is the capital of Sool region, which is claimed by both de facto independent Somaliland as well as the autonomous Puntland and partial states Khaatumo.
