Lashkar-e-Taiba

Lashkar e-Taiba ( Urdu لشكر طيبه, literally, " Army of the Pure ", and Lashkar -i - Tayyaba, Lashkar -e- Tayyaba, Lashkar -e- Toyba or Lashkar- e-Taiba ) is an Islamist terrorist organization in Kashmir.

History

The group was called in 2003 to a study published by the EU list of terrorist individuals and organizations.

Members of Lashkar e-Taiba have performed in the past, severe terrorist attacks in India.
