Laura Solari
Laura Solari ( born January 5, 1913 in Trieste, † 13 September 1984 in Bellinzona ) was an Italian actress.
Life
Laura Camaur, daughter of a painter, studied in Vienna and at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. She joined a group of film people and got first film roles soon also starred in Italian films. Laura Solari was a typical femme fatale of the film world by 1940. This year it was at the Venice IFF honored with an award for her performance in the film Don Pasquale.
As part of that close cooperation between the German and the Italian film industry and the German film became aware of them. Laura Solari participated in three UFA films and was in its time the most famous Italian actress in Germany.
After the war she played mainly in the theater and on Italian television. In addition, they could also relive in two German - Italian productions. She was married until their divorce in 1940 with the American industrialist Oscar Semere.
