Laura Trott

Laura Trott (* April 27, 1992 in Harlow ) is a British cyclist.

Sports career

In 2010, Laura Trott European Champion in the Team Pursuit, together with Katie Colclough and Wendy Houvenaghel. In the UCI Track World Championships in 2011 she became world champion in the team pursuit, together with Houvenaghel and Danielle King. In 2011 she was in Apeldoorn double European Champion in the Team Pursuit and Omnium in and was so successful sportswoman of the EM. In the UCI Track World Championships in 2012, she won another two gold medals in the team pursuit and the youngest starter in the Omnium.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Trott won two gold medals, one in the Omnium and another in the team pursuit, together with King and Joanna Rowsell, where the riders improved on a day twice her own world record, which she in April 2012 at the web - World Cup in Melbourne had set up. In the UCI Track World Championships 2013 in Minsk, she was together with Danielle King and Elinor Barker again World Champion in the Team Pursuit; they finished second in the Omnium.

Honors

Laura Trott was honored with induction into the Hall of Fame of the European Cycling Union Union Européenne de Cyclisme.
