Laurent Merlin

Laurent Merlin ( born October 17, 1984 in Marseille ) is a French football player. Currently, he plays in the North American professional league Major League Soccer in the CD Chivas USA.

Merlin is a central striker and started at Olympique Marseille in the youth teams. He made ​​the jump to the senior squad and played two games for the club in southern France. In 2004 he moved to the Corsican club AC Ajaccio. He also shot his first goal in his professional career.
