Laurentian Abyss

The tables Lauren Trench is a deep point in the Atlantic Ocean, east of Canada. It is about 6000 m deep. Although this is not a deep trough in the geological sense, the tables Lauren trench is one of the lowest points in the Atlantic. The trench was formed by glacial activity and water currents of the St. Lawrence River.
