Laurie R. King
Laurie R. King ( born 1952 ) is an American writer.
King grew up in San Francisco and studied theology at the universities of Santa Cruz and Berkeley. Later, she traveled with her husband twenty countries on five continents. Her first book, The beekeeper 's apprentice (Eng. The Assistant of the beekeeper ) was created in 1987 and was not published until 1994. It is the first in a series of thrillers featuring the main characters Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes.
Today The author lives with her family in Watsonville, California.
