The Lauter is a 19.4 km long, right or western tributary of the demand for construction in the Haßbergen in Lower and Upper Franconia (Bavaria ).

Course

The upper reaches of the Lauter arises between Köslau and Pettstadt near State Road 2281 in Köslauerer reason. Initially it flows Kirchlauter where the actual Lauter source is near a kindergarten.

The Lauter flows in the further course in southeast direction through Weikartslauter, Kottendorf, Lußberg, Ruden village, Leppelsdorf, Deusdorf and Lauter. Then it changes its flow direction to the north- east and flows through Appendorf and Godel village.

At the southern edge of the old town of demand for construction the volume of the right leads to the demand for construction.
