Lawrence Landweber

Hugh Lawrence Landweber is an American computer scientist.

Lawrence Landweber received his B.Sc. in Mathematics at Brooklyn College and received his doctorate in 1967 at Buchi for Ph.D. at Purdue University. He is since 1967 Professor at the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Wisconsin.

He is best known for his role in building initiative of the Internet since 1982. He has contributed significantly to the intercontinental Internet connections.
