Lawrence Saldanha

Lawrence John Saldanha ( born June 12, 1936 in Mangalore ) is Archbishop Emeritus of Lahore.

Life

Lawrence John Saldanha received on 16 January 1960, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 24 April 2001 as Archbishop of Lahore. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Karachi, Simeon Anthony Pereira, on 11 September of the same year; Anthony Theodore Lobo were co-consecrators, Bishop of Islamabad - Rawalpindi, and Andrew Francis, Bishop of Multan.
