Le Blanc
Le Blanc is a commune with 6960 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Indre in the Centre region. The city is the administrative center for the district of Le Blanc and Canton of Le Blanc.
Geography
Le Blanc is located in the extreme southwest of the department on the river Creuse, in the natural landscape Boischaut North in the Regional Natural Park of Brenne. The site is located approximately midway between Poitiers and Chateauroux. Neighboring municipalities are (clockwise) Douadic, Rosnay, Ruffec, Bélâbre, Mauvières, Concremiers, Saint- Aigny and Pouligny -Saint -Pierre.
