Le Folgoët

Le Folgoët ( Ar Folgoad Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department 3101 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located in the north- west of Brittany, just a few kilometers south of the Atlantic coast. Brest located 22 kilometers southwest of Paris and about 480 km to the east.

Infrastructure

In Landerneau Brest and there is the next departures of the highway E 50 (Rennes - Brest) and regional stations on the railway line Brest- Rennes -Brest and Nantes. The regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne is located only 15 km south-west.

Attractions

The main attraction of the place is the Basilica of Notre -Dame du Folgoët from the 15th century.
