Léa Rubio

Léa Rubio ( * 6 May 1991 in Avignon ) is a French football player.

Club career

Léa Rubio began as a girl at the ASPTT Avignon with the club football; followed by MJC Avignon and U.S. Le Pontet. From 2005, she played the FCF Monteux for which they denied as a 14- year-old her first second-division game. 2008 Rubio moved to Montpellier, where only 1.65 m wide midfielder equal in their first season by winning the national cup could write their first national title in their trophy case. She was also runner up in the 2009 Division 1 Féminine with Montpellier. In 2010 she was again in the Cup final, which was, however, significantly lost against Paris Saint- Germain FC; signed at the Paris Indoor Léa Rubio shortly after an agreement and ended the 2010/11 season again as league runner-up.

In the national team

Léa Rubio had developed early for master player in the various French youth - vintage selections and played in the U-17 and 20 in the U- 19 22 internationals. With the U-19, it reached 2009, the European Championship semi-finals and a year later won the continental title. In 2010 she took part in the U- 20 World Cup in Germany, in France women's organization, however, already eliminated in the group stage.

For the Women's World Cup 2011 National coach Bruno Bini called them in the extended squad, but did not pursue on the determination of the final 23er squad will have their participation. In October 2011, Bini Rubio changed during a European Championship qualifying match against Israel then for the first time in the French National A- one. In this debut her her first goal was scored after four minutes also equal in this circle (as of October 26, 2011 ).
