Leerdammer

Leerdammer is since 1978 in the Netherlands industrially produced cheese made from cow's milk. The taste invented by Cees Boterkooper and Bastian Baars cheese, which should combine the qualities of the popular varieties of Gouda and Emmental is advertised by the manufacturer as " nutty mild".

Especially in Germany, Italy, Austria and France the brand is common.

Leerdammer there in the original flavors Leerdammer, Leerdammer Light Life ( 2011 was replaced by 20 % thinner cut slices Leerdammer Leger ), Leerdammer Yoghu, Leerdammer Caractère and Dela Leerdammer cream.

Leerdammer was taken over by the fromageries Bel 2002.
