Lefty Dizz

Lefty Dizz ( born April 29, 1937 in Osceola, Arkansas as Walter Williams, † September 7, 1993 in Chicago, Illinois) was an American Chicago blues guitarist and singer.

He became famous with his band Shock Treatment, and through his work with Junior Wells, JB Lenoir and Hound Dog Taylor. Lefty Dizz used a right-handed Fender Stratocaster that he later Jimi Hendrix simply turned around, which earned him the nickname " Lefty ". Dizz guitar sound reminded loud Hound Dog Taylor at Dizzy Gillespie's trumpet playing. He died of esophageal cancer.
