Legacy Tower

The Legacy at Millennium Park (also known as Legacy Tower ) is a skyscraper in Chicago, which was completed in 2010. The building is 250 meters high and is one of 71 floors.

With the construction of the building was started in 2007 and was completed in 2010. The tower had its maximum height in mid-2009 already achieved, so that the external construction works have already been completed at this time. Full completion was early 2010. Inside the tower are 360 luxury apartments and 460 parking spaces included. On the lower floors, the building is also still include 3,800 m² classrooms for the Illinois Institute of Art. The building is now the tallest residential building in the city and the third tallest in the United States. The tower has a rectangular base and was outside completely covered with glass.

Due to the narrow design of the building each resident is offered a vantage point on Lake Michigan and the park.
