Lège-Cap-Ferret
Lege -Cap -Ferret is a commune with 7907 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. The municipality belongs to the canton in the Arrondissement Audenge Arcachon.
Geography
The municipality extends 25 to 30 miles long over most of the peninsula of Cap Ferret, which separates the basin of Arcachon from the Atlantic Ocean. The village Lege is about 50 km west of Bordeaux, on the northern tip of the basin, opposite the town of Arcachon on the south side.

In 1976, Lege -Cap -Ferret was separated from the municipality of La Teste- de-Buch.

While in Lege -Cap -Ferret in 1962, counted 3,605 inhabitants yet, while in 2007 they already twice as many.
