Leigh Adams

Leigh Scott Adams ( born April 28, 1971 in Mildura, Australia) is an Australian speedway rider. He is a three time world champion team and took the world title in the U-21 World Championships in Speedway. In addition, he is ten times Australian champion.

Life

He drove in the British League for the Swindon Robins in the Swedish for Lejonen from Gislaved and in the Polish League for Unia Leszno. At the beginning of 2011, he ended his sporting career as a speedway rider.

For training runs for a marathon motorcycle rally through the outback he crashed into a dry river bed near Alice Springs and pulled to severe injuries to the spine. Since then he has hüftabwärts paralyzed.
