Leina, Pärnu County

Leina is a village (Estonian küla ) in the Estonian Pärnu County. It belongs to the rural community Tahkuranna. Leina is 24 km south of Parnu.

Jõulumäe

Leina is especially known for the location near the village sports and health center Jõulumäe ( Jõulumäe Tervisekeskus ) for recreational and professional athletes. It was built in 1976 and expanded in 2003. Jõulumäe is located in a wooded area of 2.5 km ².

On the grounds of the center there are numerous facilities for ball games and athletics. In winter in Jõulumäe competitions in curling and cross-country skiing are held. Famous is the FIS Scandinavian Cup, which, inter alia, will be held in Jõulumäe.
