Leland Corporation

The Leland Corporation was an American manufacturer of various arcade games in the 1980s and early 1990s. Notable among these were Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp in 1991 ( the long awaited sequel to the highly successful Dragon's Lair from the year 1983) and Super Off- Road, which is an extension with Off- Road Challenge and Offroad Thunder two sequels by Leland successor Midway Games brought forth. The company was formed, when appropriated Trade West 1987 Cinematronics in 1994 and was itself of Williams Electronics Games ( WMS) purchased. From this point, the brands Leland and Trade West have been set, but the majority of the facilities and staff through WMS were (later Midway Games ) continue to be employed.
