Lelemi (also: Lefana / Lafana ) is the language of the ethnic group Lelemi ( BTE / Balemi ) in Ghana and Togo, with about 55,000 speakers in southeastern Ghana in the city Jasikan and approximately 6,800 speakers in Togo. It belongs within the Niger -Congo Sprachphylums to the group of Kwa languages.
The basic word order of the language is subject-verb - object ( SVO).
