Lena Dürr

Lena Dürr (* August 4, 1991 in Munich ) is a German alpine skier. She is the daughter of former Skirennläufers Peter Dürr and sister of Catherine Dürr. It was 2009 German champion in the downhill and 2010 Vice World Junior champion in giant slalom.

Biography

Dürr denied their first FIS race in December 2006. After she first ran in January 2008 to the podium, she came at the end of this month in the slalom in Lenggries to her first stakes in the European Cup. Already in the first slalom she immediately reached ninth place and the next day she missed in fourth just under the podium. Two weeks later she came in slalom in Zagreb also their debut in the World Cup. But when Penultimate of the first run she could not qualify for the second run to. At the Junior World Championship 2008 in Formigal her best result was the ninth place in the slalom.

With another victory in the giant slalom in Soldeu and a total of five podium finishes, she won the European Cup standings and finished second in the giant slalom standings. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season pass Dürr two sixth places.
