Lene Gammelgaard

Lene Gammelgaard ( born December 18, 1961) is a Danish lawyer, journalist and psychotherapist, and was the first Scandinavian woman on the summit of Mount Everest.

It was in 1996 during the by Jon Krakauer in his book " In Thin Air " described the accident on Everest as a paying member of the expedition team of Scott Fischer and Anatoly Nikolayevich Bukrejew and wrote about it in her book " The final challenge. How I survived " the tragedy on Mount Everest.

Lene Gammelgaard owns a consulting company, is involved in motivation seminars and also organizes its own seminars.
