Lengwe-Nationalpark

The Lengwe National Park is one of the smaller wildlife sanctuaries in Malawi in Chikwawa.

It comprises a substantially flat grass savannas with antelopes ( nyala, bushbuck, kudu, hartebeest, impala ), buffalo, leopards and lions. The park is indeed permeated with motorable roads, yet tourism is not developed. In the rainy season the Lengwe National Park is closed because of the soft, muddy soil is unsuitable for cars.
