Leni Björklund

Leni Christina Elisabeth Björklund ( born July 5, 1944 in Enskede, Sweden) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. From 21 October 2002 to the replacement of the social-democratic government through the Civil Alliance government on 6 October 2006, she was the first woman in that office, defense minister in the cabinet of Göran Persson. Previously, Björklund General Secretary of the Church of Sweden (from 1999 ).
