Lenoir Chambers
Lenoir Chambers ( * 1891, † 1970) was an American writer, journalist and editor.
Life and work
Chambers served during the First World War in the 52nd Infantry (6th Division ) and was a member of the American Expeditionary Force.
After the war, Chambers returned to his homeland. First he wrote as a freelancer for various newspapers and magazines. He got a permanent job later, among others at the newspaper The Virginian Pilot ( Norfolk, Virginia). Early 1960, Chambers acted as a responsible editor of this newspaper, and brought it some time.
