Lenti

Lenti ( German: Nempthy ) is a facility located in Zala county Hungarian city. Covering an area of 73.8 km ² live 7,992 inhabitants ( 2011).

Geography

Lenti is a sub- center in western Hungary with thermal spa, it lies at a distance of about 80 km to the flat near the Austrian ( 35 km), Slovenia (15 km) and Croatia (25 km) border near (32 km) of the city Zalaegerszeg.

History

The first mention dates back to 1237th The name was written as Nempthy ( Németi ), suggesting the presence of German settlers.
