Leo Fiederer

Leo Fiederer ( born April 4, 1897 in Fuerth, † October 1, 1946 ) was a German football player. He is considered one of the first great all-round player in Germany: Although striker, he was also used as a center half or defender.

Fiederer played until November 1920 for SpVgg Fürth after he played from 1907 to 1919 at FC Schneidig Fürth. Later Fiederer moved to the Ruhr area and played for the Duisburg SV, RSV Mülheim and Oberhausen SpVgg.

At his only game for the German national football team came Fiederer 1920 against Hungary.

His nephew Hans Fiederer was also a successful football player.
