Léonard Limousin

Léonard Limosin (* around 1505 in Limoges; † around 1577 ) was a French enamel painter and goldsmith.

Dated works according to which he worked from 1532 to 1574 for the French kings Francis I and Henry II, as well as for many other personalities of the time. He painted, among other plates, bowls, jugs, bowls and medallions.

Some of his works are in the Louvre, including a representation of the Psyche, after Raphael, two Votivsteine ​​with representation of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ and Francis I as Saint Thomas.
