Leopold Griffuel Prize

The Léopold- Griffuel Prize ( Prix ARC Léopold Griffuel ) is awarded by the Association pour la Recherche sur le Cancer (ARC ) for its achievements in the field of cancer research.

The Prize was instituted because of the testamentary estate of the widow of Léopold Griffuel and has been awarded since 1970. It is awarded annually by the Executive Board of the ARC based on a recommendation of a scientific advisory board and is endowed with € 150,000 (as of 2012). Individuals can apply under the age of 65 or research groups up to six people.

The Léopold- Griffuel Prize is one of the most respected and highest endowed research prizes in France.
