Lepiku, Tallinn

Lepiku is a municipality (Estonian asum ) of the Estonian capital Tallinn. The district is located in Pirita district.

The municipality has 1,226 inhabitants today (as of 1 May 2010).

The area of Lepiku was formerly called Äigrumäe. Prior to 1870 there were only two or three yards. Only in 1876 was another yard adds to the village Lepiku.

Today, the city district forms the eastern outskirts of Tallinn. Its modern appearance is characterized by numerous single-family homes of the Estonian SMEs.
