Les Ponts-de-Cé

Les Ponts -de- Cézanne is a commune with 11,780 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Maine -et -Loire in the Pays de la Loire. The city is located south of the city of Angers in the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
History
On August 7, 1640 was a battle of Les Ponts -de- Cé between the troops of Louis XIII. and those of his mother, Maria de ' Medici instead, which had supported a conspiracy against the young king. The battle, also known as Drôleries des Ponts -de- Cézanne, went out in favor of the king.
