Lesiëm

Lesiëm is a German musical project, founded by the producers Sven Meisel and Alex Wende 1999. The music of the project combines various elements of pop, rock, electronic music, New age and ambient music, and Gregorian chant and other choral music. It is similar to the project Enigma by Michael Cretu, the French music project by Eric Levi Era, the German music project Gregorian by Frank Peterson and the Norwegian artist Amethystium.

Lesiëm released their debut album, Mystic, Spirit, Voices, in 2000 in Europe. Two years later the publication in the United States. There, the album reached # 7 on the U.S. Billboard charts. The follow-up album, Chapter 2, was released in Europe in 2001 and 2003 under illumination in the USA.

The first two albums were the predecessors of the pop opera Times, which as Lesiëm 's third album (in the U.S. as Auracle 2004) appeared. The musicians began their work in March 2002 and ended this the end of July. The single Caritas (feat. Maggie Reilly and the choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin) was introduced in December 2002 in the TV show of Jose Carreras, the " Carreras Gala". In 2013 they produced a medley for the Kölner Lichter.
