Leśna, Kłodzko County

Leśna ( German Leśna, also: Leschney; 1937-1945: Talheim ) is a village in the powiat Kłodzki in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland. It belongs to the rural community Lewin Kłodzki and is located six kilometers west of Duszniki - Zdrój.

Geography

Leśna lies in the west of the Glatzer boiler. Neighboring towns are Gołaczów in the north, Kulin Kłodzki in the northeast, Witów to the southeast, the southwest, and Lewin Kłodzki Dańczów in the northwest.

History

Leśna was first mentioned in 1477 as Lestny. It was the parish church of St. Michael gepfarrt in Lewin and belonged to the rule Hummel. This was independent until then, and in the same year by Henry the Elder. connected to the County of Glatz. 1561 acquired the Bohemian sovereign dominion Hummel. Even after its dissolution in 1595 the associated villages remained in the possession of the royal chamber. This sold Leśna 1684 the owner of the domain Rückers, Johann of Hartig Isaias.

After the Silesian Wars, it coincided with the county of Glatz in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg to Prussia. 1793 consisted of 72 residents who lived in eleven houses. After the reorganization of Prussia belonged since 1815 to the province of Silesia and was from 1816 to 1945 the county Glatz incorporated. It formed its own rural community and belonged to the district of Halla sealed. In 1937 it was renamed in Talheim. 1939 were counted 36 inhabitants. As a result of the Second World War, it fell in 1945 as almost all of Silesia to Poland and was renamed Leśna. The German population was expelled. The new inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. 1975-1998 belonged to Leśna Voivodeship Wałbrzych.
