Lester Crown

Lester Crown ( born June 7, 1925) is an American entrepreneur.

Life

Crown grew up in a Jewish family; his father was the entrepreneur Henry Crown. He studied chemistry at Northwestern University and at Harvard University. Since 1969 he has been president of the company Henry Crown & Co.. Within the company General Dynamics and the company Maytag Crown was a board member. According to the American Forbes Magazine Crown is one of the wealthiest Americans, and is listed in The World's Billionaires 2005. Crown is married and has seven children.
