Let Me Stand Alone

Let Me Stand Alone is a book of Rachel Corrie. It was released in 2008 after her death by WW Norton & Company and consists of their texts, diaries and letters. Corrie was killed in 2003 by an Israeli bulldozer as she tried to protect a Palestinian house.

The book describes how a young girl from a privileged life in Olympia (Washington) travels to the Gaza Strip, but has a broader focus on timeless themes, such as young people can find their place in the world, the impact of actions on others and humanity.
