Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan is an album that BB King has released on MCA in 1999, which represents a tribute to the R & B musician Louis Jordan. Jordan was in the 1940s and early 1950s, one of the most successful African-American artists in the United States. He had numerous hits in the charts and was the author of a myriad of classic R & B- pieces such as Saturday Night Fish Fry, Let the Good Times Roll, Caldonia or Choo Choo Ch'Boogie.

As a motivation to receive a tribute album for Louis Jordan, King stated that he wanted to show the world what the music owes this artist. Jordan was the first African- American to reach the pop charts, the concert halls with R & B music filled, and whose vocal style can be regarded as a forerunner of rap. Although Kings Blues and Jordan jump blues seem far apart, King has recorded this album, because his skill can be traced back as a showman and elements of his musical style to Louis Jordan. On this album Kings is the most important contribution of the vocals, which makes one aware that King is often underrated as a singer.

The album reached number two on the Top Blues Album Charts
