Reviews

" Mikhail Kalatosov, the director of, The Cranes Are Flying ', the epic adventure set with obvious pleasure of optical pathos in the picture: Powerful patters of forest fire, and heroic, the silhouettes of geologists lift off the natural panorama. As a leading actress Tatyana Samoilova overused their famous Kyrgyz view, but the extreme simplicity of the characters condemned the film to sterility. "

" A predominantly to the effect of hauntingly beautiful images through staged film. The plot is rather pathetic and unbelievable. "
