Formation

The park has been planned as an actual heart of Leutschenbach. Its round and curved shapes give a counterweight to the rectangular architecture of the area. The Leutschenpark was designed as a conglomerate, the existing elements of the former shooting hill and the house Kissling ( now a restaurant Aux Carré ) with includes. The system consists of a gravel yard with a stage, a hilly play area, a sunbathing area with a pool and a " tree pot ."

Another contrast to the severe environment architecture is the planting of 276 released Gleditschien, some of which are edged with annular seating. The rangy, new foliage bright yellow foliage of these trees will settle against the dark backdrop of the existing stock of trees in the tree pot. It radiates a serene, airy atmosphere and combines with its shady canopy the various parking spaces with each other.

Tree pot

In the middle of the square is the former ball catch the used until 1955 shooting range. Because of the loaded with lead bullets of the soil overgrown with trees area may not be entered. A 3.50 meter high white concrete wall prevents the entry and makes it look like an oversized tree pot. The running all around, built into the wall profile 155 -meter-long bench is illuminated at night.

Leutschenlicht

At night, the park from the 177 -meter-long blue ribbon Leutschenlichts is lit, the meanders through the treetops. Developed by artists Christopher T.
