Levan Kalyayev

Levan Alexeyevich Kaljajew (Russian Леван Алексеевич Каляев, English transcription Levan Kalyayev, . Born May 16, 1929 in Leningrad † 19 August 1984) was a Soviet sprinter who had his greatest successes in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

With the Soviet team, he won gold at the 1950 European Athletics Championships in Brussels, and in 1952 the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Helsinki.
