Levent Tuncat

Levent Tuncat (born 29 July 1988) is a Turkish-born German Taekwondo athlete (graduation: 3rd Dan ) who is trained in Taekwondo Center TC Laar since the age of five. His home trainer Cevdet Mutlu (5th Dan ) has discovered the talent early and continuously trained in the full contact Olympic discipline.

Sports career

Honors

Levent Tuncat was honored at the National Championship in Taekwondo on 18 December 2005 in Schleiden (Eifel ) of North Rhine-Westphalia Interior Minister Ingo Wolf and excellent for his first European title. He also received the Golden Badge of Honour NWTU from the hands of NWTU President Josef Wagner. Levent Tuncat received the Golden Badge of Honour with Silver laurel wreath by the President of DTU. In April 2008, he was elected by the local press to Duisburg Sportsman of the Year 2007.
