Levon Hayrapetyan

Levon Hayrapetyan (also Levon Hajrapetjan; Armenian Լեւոն Հայրապետյան; born April 17, 1989 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR) is an Armenian national football team, but who also has German nationality, because he grew up in Germany. He plays in defense, primarily as a left-back.

Levon Hayrapetyan played in his youth at the club Hamburger SV Bramfelder before joining Hamburger SV at the age of fifteen years into the youth department of the German professional clubs. There he accomplished in the summer of 2008, the jump in the squad of the second team, but where he came in two seasons only to seven brief appearances in the regional league, which is why it is in the summer of 2010 decided to leave the club.

He changed free transfer to Armenian first division and record champions FC Pjunik Yerevan. There he came in the second half of the 2010 season on four missions.

In January 2011, he moved again free transfer to the Polish first division Lechia Gdańsk, where he was able to prevail as a regular player. In one and a half years he was in 35 games for use. On the third Round of the 2012/13 season he was injured but hard on the knee and had to aufgrunf a torn ACL sidelined the remainder of the season. At the end of the season his expiring contract was not renewed.

In July 2013 Hayrapetyan signed then after a trial, a one-year contract with the Premier League rivals Widzew Łódź.

National

Hayrapetyan has already played for the youth national teams of Armenia. For the U -19 and U -21, he played nine games and scored one goal.

After his move to Lechia Gdańsk Hayrapetyan was first nominated in early 2011 for the Armenian national football team and was on 9 February 2011 in a friendly against Georgia (1-2) to its debut. After that, he was employed as a regular in all the remaining qualifying matches for Euro 2012.
