Lexie Feeney

Alexandra Feeney ( born July 3, 1989 in Penrith, Sydney ) is an Australian archer. It belongs to the Burilda Archery Club in Sydney. Feeney took part in the 2007 World Championships in Leipzig and was part of the Australian squad for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

Career

Alexandra Feeney came with the archery for the first time at the age of ten years, while vacationing in Fiji in contact. The interest in competitive sports came as a result of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. 2006 Feeney won silver at the European Grand Prix in Sassari. So she was the first Australian who won the recurve bow a medal at an international competition. At the 2007 World Championships in Leipzig, she was ranked 21 with the team and 46th in the individual competition. Alexandra Feeney was a member of the Australian squad for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

In addition to her own sporting career Alexandra Feeney trained juniors in their club in Sydney.
