Leyli va Majnun - Azerbaijani Leyli və Məcnun ( لیلی و مجنون ), ie " Leyli and Majnun " - is the name of the first Azerbaijani opera. The work of Üzeyir Hacıbəyov was composed in 1907 and is therefore also the first opera in the Muslim world and the Middle East.
