Li Tie

Li Tie (Chinese李铁/李铁, Pinyin lǐ tie, born March 18, 1977 in the province of Liaoning ) is a Chinese football player.

Career

The defensive midfielder began his football career in the Middle Kingdom in Liaoning Hongyun and Shenzhen Asia Travel. In 2002, the Chinese went to Europe to Everton, where he played until 2006. But he could never prevail right there and then moved within the Premier League newly promoted Sheffield United, where he came to no single use in two years. 2008 Tie returned to the home and signed a contract with the Chengdu Blades, which he then left his parent club Liaonin Hongyun one year.

Li Tie has played 91 times in the Chinese national football team and scored five goals.
